Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a Stock Accounting Controls Manager to provide financial oversight and governance of inventory accounting. You will oversee the end-to-end stock accounting processes, ensure accuracy of balances, and support period end reporting in collaboration with the Sales & Margin and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in a high-volume or retail finance environment.
• Experience in inventory accounting, stock control, and period-end reporting.
• Experience overseeing outsourced/shared service operations and audits.
• Experience leading process improvement and control enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Own the inventory accounting governance framework and related balance sheet accounts.
• Review stock reconciliations, variances, ageing items and write-off recommendations.
• Provide commentary and analysis to support period end and year-end reporting.
• Collaborate with Internal/External Audit and Business stakeholders on stock accounting matters.
• Drive continual improvement and automation of stock accounting processes.
