Job summary

The Building Company in Athlone is seeking a detail‑oriented Stock Controller to coordinate incoming stock, maintain optimum stock levels and range, and support merchandising.

Your role includes checking reports, managing supplier returns, cycle counts, stock variances, bin locations, and generating variance data for the 8 weeks cycle. This permanent, on‑site position requires Grade 12 and at least 3 years stock control experience or equivalent certificates.

Qualifications

• 3 years stock control experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of stock control principles and loss prevention
• Ability to supervise stock counts and replenishment

Responsibilities

• Checking reports
• Check cost of Stock-outs
• Manage Supplier returns
• Keep Cycle Counter up to date
• Validate stock variances
• Negative Stock clearance
• Maintain Bin Locations
• Investigate bad risk stock
• Stock take
• Run no stock, no demand report
• Run Deletion reports
• Ensure Existing Stock are binned
• Monitor stock performance
• Provide Variance Data to Operator
• Providing the Operator with stock variance data for the 8 weeks cycle every month
