Job summary

The Building Company in Athlone is seeking a Stock Controller to coordinate incoming stock, GRNing and merchandising, while maintaining optimum stock levels for the business.

You will regularly review stock reports, manage supplier returns, conduct stock takes and ensure accurate bin locations to support retail operations in Leinster. Permanent role with market-related salary.

Minimum 3 years stock control experience or equivalent and relevant retail qualifications preferred.

• Experience with stock counts and merchandising.
• Retail operations knowledge and loss prevention awareness.

Responsibilities

• Review stock reports
• Assess stock-out costs
• Process supplier returns
• Maintain cycle counting records
• Investigate stock variances
• Clear negative stock
• Maintain bin locations
• Investigate bad-risk stock
• Coordinate stock takes
• Run no-stock/no-demand reports
• Run deletion reports
• Bin existing stock correctly
• Monitor stock performance
• Provide variance data to operator
• Report monthly 8-week variance to the operator
