Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a P2 Intrinsic Reliability Engineer to characterize novel technologies, including electrochemical biosensors and magnetoresistive sensors, through device reliability testing.

You will engage early in new technologies to assess design and manufacturing risks, develop lifetime models, and collaborate with failure analysis and process teams to locate root causes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/physics/material science or related field (minimum).
• Ability to multitask and pivot between priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engage early in new technology developments to understand risks in device design and manufacturing processes and customer expectations.
• De-risk novel electrochemical and semiconductor devices through reliability testing and bespoke stress tests and lifetime acceleration techniques.
• Develop statistical lifetime models to evaluate technology robustness.
• Collaborate with failure analysis and process/product development teams to localize root causes of failures.
• Attend industry reliability conferences and apply state-of-the-art best practices.
