Job summary

Primeline is seeking a Health & Safety Trainer to develop operator capability, promote safe working practices, and strengthen our safety culture across multiple sites in Ireland. Responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training for colleagues and agency staff across a range of equipment (VNA, Bendi/Flexi, Counterbalance, Reach Trucks, PPTs).
• Support onboarding and development of new operators.
• Verify licences, qualifications and operator competency.
• Deliver Manual Handling training and refresher programmes.
• Adapt training to different learning styles and operational needs.
• Conduct competency assessments and follow-up coaching.
• Support incidents reviews, risk assessments and safety initiatives.
• Maintain training records and licence tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Deliver MHE training for colleagues and agency staff across a range of equipment, including VNA, Bendi/Flexi, Counterbalance, Reach Trucks and PPTs.
• Support the onboarding and development of new operators.
• Verify licences, qualifications and operator competency.
• Deliver Manual Handling training and refresher programmes.
• Adapt training to suit different learning styles and operational needs.

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct competency assessments and follow-up coaching.
• Support colleagues following incidents, near misses or performance concerns.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Assist with risk assessments, SOP reviews and wider safety initiatives.
• Maintain training records, competency matrices and licence tracking systems.
• Support audit readiness and compliance requirements.

About You

• Experience delivering MHE training within logistics, warehousing, distribution or FMCG environments.
• Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Flexible to travel between sites as required.
• RTITB/TITB accreditation (or willingness to achieve).
