Job summary

Primeline is seeking a Health & Safety Trainer to develop operator capability, promote safe working practices, and strengthen our safety culture across multiple sites in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering MHE training, verifying licences, and coaching staff to improve safety and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MHE training in logistics, warehousing, distribution or FMCG environments.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Stakeholder engagement and ability to influence behaviours.
• Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training for colleagues and agency staff across a range of equipment (VNA, Bendi/Flexi, Counterbalance, Reach Trucks, PPTs).
• Support onboarding and development of new operators.
• Verify licences, qualifications and operator competency.
• Deliver Manual Handling training and refresher programmes.
• Adapt training to different learning styles and operational needs.
• Conduct competency assessments and follow-up coaching.
• Support incidents reviews, risk assessments and safety initiatives.
• Maintain training records and licence tracking systems.
