Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Killarney, Ireland, is recruiting a Team Lead – Internal Quality.

You will lead the internal quality team, monitor manufacturing quality, coordinate tasks, mentor staff and drive continuous improvement across the factory and onsite. Reporting to the Head of Quality Management, you will use SCARs, 8D and BSM tools to analyse issues, deliver timely corrective actions and support customer satisfaction with Liebherr products.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in quality management, engineering or proven work experience.
• Experience in an office and steel fabrication/electromechanical assembly environment.
• More than 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Process improvement experience and strong project management skills.
• Experience of team management and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal quality team to monitor and audit manufacturing quality.
• Coordinate work content, drive timely completion and support other leads.
• Develop team knowledge, training and KPI reporting from data.
• Use SCARs/8D/BSM to analyse root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Deputise for the Quality Manager as required and maintain customer focus.
