Job summary

RT.Lane is seeking a Clerk of Works with a strong background in construction quality management to oversee QA/QC across multiple sites in Ireland. You will develop procedures, conduct inspections, and guide project teams to ensure compliance with building regulations and project specs.

The role requires 8–10 years in construction with a proven QA/QC track record, and the ability to mentor site teams on best practices. This is a full-time position based in Leinster, Ireland.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Significant construction trade background with proven quality management experience.
• Experience implementing and maintaining QA/QC procedures across projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of company-wide construction quality management systems.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC procedures aligned with company and industry standards.
• Lead quality inspections, audits, and compliance across multiple project sites.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Manage defect prevention, reporting, and corrective action processes.
• Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
• Support project teams during commissioning, handover, and client inspections.
• Provide mentoring and training to site teams on quality standards and best practices.
