Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Ireland seeks a seasoned Head of Project Management to steer end-to-end delivery of complex customer projects from order to handover.

You will oversee the Projects Department and drive best-in-class PM practices across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and site delivery. You will ensure safety, schedule, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are met, while guiding global project teams and forging strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large-scale engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, or capital equipment projects.
• Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
• Strong track record coordinating with diverse stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Engineering or related qualification preferred; strong commercial acumen with customer-facing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of all customer projects from contract award to final handover.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance, planning, and performance management processes.
• Drive safety, schedule, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives across projects.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Commissioning, Service, and Finance.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing project management organization.
• Establish metrics and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
