Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.

As an intern in the Utilities department of our new facility, you will:

• Gain experience of clean utiltites in a next generation biotech facility
• Understand the regulatory requirements withing the engineering department
• Analyze process trends and convert into useful information
• Gain an understanding into the validation activities in a start up environment
• Advance skills in process control
• Opportunity to work on process improvements within the department

This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop technical skills and understand the intricacies of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
