Eli Lilly Limerick Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.

During the placement the student will be exposed to a variety of roles and functions while working as part of a cross functional team.
Working alongside the team will enable the student to employ their existing knowledge and to expand it further. Students will work in the Biotechnology manufacturing area of the site during their placement and gain exposure to other areas of the business as well. The student will undertake work on specific projects during their time on placement and take ownership of these projects.
