Facility

Eli Lilly Limerick Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.

Placement Information

As a company, we are dedicated to providing students with challenging, interesting and relevant work experience. We believe that students make a significant contribution to Eli Lilly during their time on placement. During the placement the student will be exposed to a variety of roles and functions while working as part of a cross functional team.

  • Work with functional leadership to organize, prioritize, and deliver on start-up initiatives to adhere to project milestones.
  • Participate in or lead initiatives supporting the growth of the site culture (DEI initiatives, ERGs etc)
  • Write procedures so that all operations activities are consistently executed.
  • Participate in Unit operations teams to deliver the Operational Readiness plan
  • Participate in or lead efforts associated with the Training Quality system to help define the overarching training strategy.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of Biotech operations training through multiple waves of new hires and multiple phases of the project.
  • Participate in the content creation and delivery of training materials through multiple waves of new hires and multiple phases of the project.

Working alongside the team will enable the student to employ their existing knowledge and to expand it further. Students will work in the Biotechnology manufacturing area of the site during their placement and gain exposure to other areas of the business as well. The student will undertake work on specific projects during their time on placement and take ownership of these projects.

Compensation

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is € - € Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
