Placement Information

The OPEX Undergraduate is primarily responsible for supporting the OPEX team in partnering with all organisational levels across their area of responsibility to drive Operational Excellence (OE) and continuous improvement efforts, by combining knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing with Lean principles and tools.

Responsibilities

• LEAN Digital Transformation — Implementation & Support
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Daily Management System (DMS) utilising digital Lean tools within the Lilly Limerick site
• Support the deployment and sustainment of system standards across functional areas
• Contribute to establishing the integration and flow of metrics cross-functionally site wide
• Process Mapping & Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to and support process mapping exercises within teams, including development and sustainment activities
• Assist in identifying improvement opportunities and support the implementation of countermeasures
• Systems Governance & Assessment
• Support systems governance and assessment activities, including health checks, maturity assessments and performance reviews
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems and processes
• Cross-Functional Engagement
• Partner with teams across the site to support OpEx initiatives and help embed a culture of continuous improvement
