Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is recruiting an Intermediate Estimator to join its North Dublin estimating team. You will prepare tender cost estimates, analyse drawings, and coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers to support accurate tender submissions.

The role reports to the Estimating Manager and offers a strong pipeline of projects, a competitive package including pension and bonus, and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Experience working as an Estimator, ideally with a main contractor.
• Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for tender submissions across a range of construction projects.
• Analyse tender documentation, drawings and specifications to identify scope and cost drivers.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with the design team, subcontractors and suppliers during the tender process.
• Support post-tender handover to the commercial and site teams.

Intermediate Estimator required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to join their estimating team, based out of their North Dublin office. Our client is specifically looking for an Intermediate Estimator with a strong grasp of construction cost estimating to support tender submissions across a range of projects. Our client has a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and continues to grow its estimating function. The successful Intermediate Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager.
