Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their M&E design team. You will contribute to design, project management, and construction supervision across pharmaceutical, healthcare and commercial sectors in a collaborative environment.

The role focuses on detailed electrical design, coordination, site surveys, and technical reporting to support multi-disciplinary projects. A relevant electrical engineering degree and 4+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare schematic and coordinated layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or Revit for 3D modelling.
• Prepare schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and technical reports.
• Support the preparation of contract documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements.
• Provide general project support as required.

My client is a well-established and highly respected M&E Design Consultancy currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to gain hands-on experience in design, technical coordination, and project delivery within a collaborative and professional environment.

The successful candidate will join a busy team involved in the design, project management, and construction supervision of a wide variety of building projects across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle
• Prepare schematic and coordinated layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or Revit for 3D modelling
• Prepare schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications
• Carry out site surveys and inspections
