Job summary

Radius is seeking a driven insurance broker in Galway, Ireland to compliantly sell business insurance to our existing commercial client base. You will own targets and service clients through the first 12 months, acting as a broker on behalf of Radius Insurance and supporting cross-selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities include client account management, mid-term adjustments, and coordinating with insurers to build long-term client relationships while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• APA or CIP required.
• Bonus paid as a % of salary.
• CIP (Certificate in Insurance Practice) 35K euros - (42,350 OTE minimum)

Responsibilities

• Compliant selling of business insurance to existing commercial clients (Back Book).
• Own targets and servicing existing business clients for the first 12 months of their insurance.
• Acting as a Broker on behalf of relevant Radius Insurance clients.
• Customer retention and upselling/cross-selling of additional products.
• Client account management including mid-term adjustments and administration.
• Meeting targets and KPIs as agreed with management.
• De-escalation of complaints and building long-term client relationships.
• Engaging with clients primarily via phone and email.
• Administrative duties associated with the role.
• Working with insurers to develop long-term relationships.

Job Description

Compliant selling of business insurance to existing commercial clients (Back Book). Ensuring the product offered is based on a thorough and fair review of Radius Insurance available market and best suits the needs (and wants) of the client.

Own target and servicing existing business client including any of their needs oradditionalrequirements throughout the first 12 months of their insurance. Where relevant, supportingadditionalwork of the commercial team.

• Acting as a Broker on behalf of relevant Radius Insurance clients.
• Customer retention of existing policies and upselling/cross-selling ofadditionalproducts.
• Client account managementincluding:mid‑term adjustments; departmental and client administration;facilitatingfinance for clients via third party partners; action post received (e.g. from clients or insurers) / to be sent.
• Working towards targets and key performance indicators, as agreed with management.
• Effectively managing your own time, requesting support whenrequired.
• Working as a member of a team to help develop other staff and progress thecompany, as a whole.
• Providing excellent customer service, including but not limited to, de‑escalating complaints/customer issues and building long‑term relationships with clients.
• Working with others including colleagues and insurers to develop long‑term relationships.
• Administrative duties associated with the role.
• Engaging with clients,predominantly throughphone and email.
• Addressing problemsidentifiedand putting corrective measures in place.
• Ensuring your working environment is safe andappropriate forthe role.
• Continuous professional development as required by relevant regulation and/or legislation.
