Job summary

Intact Insurance Ireland DAC is seeking a dynamic Product Owner for Commercial Lines in a 12-month secondment. You will bridge business and technology, translating priorities into technology outcomes that drive value across underwriting, pricing and broker engagement.

The role focuses on delivering a modernised roadmap, managing the product backlog, and leading change across multiple teams in a regulated environment, with strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualification in business, insurance or technology.
• Experience in product ownership and transformation.
• Understanding of Commercial Lines insurance and broker engagement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the Commercial Lines Technology Roadmap.
• Represent Commercial Lines in transformation initiatives and align priorities.
• Own and manage the product backlog with business value and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to shape solutions.
• Support delivery across underwriting, broker engagement, pricing, and data.
• Provide direction to delivery teams on goals and outcomes.
• Engage stakeholders to gather feedback and maintain support for change.
• Monitor progress against milestones and benefits.
• Identify risks and mitigations and escalate where needed.
• Support business case development and benefits realisation.
• Champion customer, broker, and underwriter needs for better UX.
• Lead business readiness and adoption activities for new processes.
• Build relationships across functions to enable successful delivery.
