Job summary

Howden Ireland is recruiting an Administration Executive based in Wexford. The role involves providing full administrative support, handling client accounts, and progressing within the department to an Account Executive level.

The position is office-based with opportunities to learn towards an APA in Personal General Insurance within 12 months. Ideal candidates are highly organised, with 1–2 years in administration; insurance industry experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Extremely well organised with excellent time management skills.
• Aptitude for learning toward an insurance qualification (APA) within 12 months.
• 1–2 years experience in an administration role desirable.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submissions and input data.
• Scan documents and issue documents; manage mid-term adjustments.
• Handle finance-related tasks and support Account Executives.
• Screen calls and direct to the correct Executive; liaise with Credit Control.
• Manage company post and provide weekly arrears updates.
• Adhere to Compliance, Health & Safety, and diary management policies.
