Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking an Administration Executive to support the team in Wexford. This office-based role offers opportunities to progress to an Account Executive level and to work on diverse administrative tasks within a busy insurance environment.

Candidates should be well-organised, capable of managing their own time, and willing to pursue insurance qualifications (APA) within a year. 1–2 years administration experience in insurance is desirable.

Qualifications

• Extremely well organised with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Innovative and collaborative.
• Willingness to progress within the team to Account Executive level.
• Aptitude for learning involves insurance qualification APA within 12 months.
• 1-2 years previous experience in an administration role desirable.
• Previous experience working in the Insurance Industry preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executives with administration: submissions, data entry, document scanning, issuing documents, mid-term adjustments, and finance.
• Manage company daily post and weekly arrears updates.
• Maintain effective diary management to support client, compliance, and quality needs.
• Coordinate with Credit Control on finance issues.
• Ensure compliance with Handbook and Health & Safety policies.
