Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an Associate Consultant for Front Office Solutions in Ireland to manage investment data and support institutional clients. You will collaborate with Client Solutions partners to ensure holistic data sets meet stakeholder requirements and assist in researching data challenges.

Qualifications

• College or University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• Interest in pursuing advanced professional credentials (CFA, CIPM, CAIA, MBA) preferred.
• Genuine desire and capability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment requiring teamwork and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as daily point of contact for operational client queries including accounting and general operational queries.
• Entry of investment data including transactions, valuations, plan income/expense items and cash flows.
• Supports preparation of investment reconciliations (cash, positions, performance, metrics).
• Responsible for initial review of NAV, allocation and underlying client performance for alternatives.
• Assists in training new Front Office Solutions partners in the accounting and operational space.
• Supports client onboarding including initial discovery, project planning and ongoing updates.
• Participates in on-going process improvement discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
