Job summary

A leading agricultural technology company in Tralee is looking for Installation Team Members to install dairy equipment at customer sites. Candidates should have experience with farm equipment, a qualification in machinery is a plus, and ability to work with power tools is essential. The role requires flexibility for travel and overnight stays. Attractive salary offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or qualification with machinery is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a distinct advantage.
• Background or interest in engineering or agriculture is beneficial.
• Background in engineering, agriculture or dairy industry is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and stay overnight if required.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to varied roles.

Responsibilities

• Install Dairy Cow Milking Machines and Feeding Systems.
• Work on customer sites and maintain quality & H&S checks.
• Liaise with staff and supervisors; be flexible and adaptable.
• Maintain quality and health and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.

Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Installation Team Members

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Requirements:

• Work installing the Dairy Cow Milking Machines, Dairy Cow Feeding Systems and Cow manure handling equipment on Dairymaster customer sites.
• Relevant experience or a qualification with machinery is a preference, with a strong working experience with farm equipment from a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, fitting or fabrication perspectives is beneficial.
• Experienced using power tools, large masonry drills, impact drivers, and other mechanical assembly tools is an advantage.
• Background/ experience or interest in engineering, agriculture and/or in the dairy industry an advantage.
• Work from Dairymaster headquarters or customer sites throughout the region.
• Be flexible when working at customer sites to make overnight stays when and if scheduled.
• Be flexible to work overtime if required.
• Have the ability to work and liaise with all staff and supervisors i.e. team player.
• Be flexible and willing to work varied roles in different sections while on site, if required.
• Work to high workmanship standards with good practical skills and maintain all quality & H&S checks.
• Experience troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a distinct advantage when applying.
