Job summary

A leading international law firm seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Insolvency Disputes team in Dublin or Cork. The successful candidate will handle a range of contentious financial services matters, advising on insolvency, trust disputes and complex commercial litigation for a blue‑chip client base.

The role offers exposure to cross‑border cases, client relationship management, and opportunities for business development within a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 1–5 PQE required.
• Strong background in insolvency, commercial litigation, and/or trust litigation.
• Outstanding academics.
• Technically excellent.
• Willingness to engage in business development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Advise commercial clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, including injunctions, disclosures, enforcement and asset recovery.
• Advise trustees, beneficiaries and enforcers on high‑value trust disputes, often with cross‑border elements.
• Represent clients in insolvency and related disputes within a leading Insolvency & Restructuring practice.

We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Insolvency Disputes team within their Dublin or Cork office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a globally recognised Insolvency & Restructuring team, acting across a range of contentious financial services related issues, spanning insolvency, private client and corporate disputes. The candidate will advise commercial clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, ranging from pre-emptive injunctions and disclosure applications to enforcement and asset recoveries. The candidate will also advise trustees, beneficiaries, and enforcers on high-value trust disputes, often with a cross-border element.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly regarded blue chip client base, including global corporations, insolvency practitioners, banks and other financial institutions. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

• 1-5 PQE;
