Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking a Staff Nurse for Medical Surgical Inpatient Units in Dublin. You will deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care within a dynamic clinical team, performing assessments, medications administration and care planning in accordance with NMBI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current NMBI registration as an RN (RGN).
• Minimum 1 year of surgical ward experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, planning and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centred nursing care.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Monitor, document and respond to patients' clinical conditions.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with medical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and needs.
• Support ward operations and participate in rotations and on-call duties.
• Supervise and delegate duties, deputise for Clinical Coordinator when required.
