RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking a Staff Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit role at a hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, perform patient assessments, monitor and report changes, and administer medications according to orders. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, uphold infection control, and support education and leadership within the ward.

Qualifications

• NMBI Registered General Nurse licence.
• Minimum 1 year Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills with clear and concise information.
• Understanding of change management principles.
• Good planning, organisational, and time management skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred nursing care per care plans and directives.
• Conduct assessments, monitor conditions, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Support admission, discharge, and transfer procedures and daily activities.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of care and interactions.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Contribute to quality, audit, and risk management; mentor staff and educate families.
