Job summary

Principle is seeking an architect to design cloud-native Tier-0 service infrastructure in Dublin. You will shape Kubernetes architecture across Azure, AWS and GCP and drive Crossplane orchestration across hyperscalers, containerising tooling where needed.

You should bring 7+ years in infra/SRE, strong Kubernetes in production, and IaC expertise with Terraform. This role offers an 11-month contract with extension potential and weekly PAYE in a hybrid Dublin setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering or SRE.
• 3+ years of Kubernetes in production at the architecture level.
• 2+ years of Terraform/IaC for public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong container ecosystem knowledge – Docker, registries, image strategies.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure modernisation or migration programmes.
• Comfort with "everything is code" in a cloud-native context; Go development skills where needed.

DNS, LDAP, DHCP, CDN, cloud networking - the services everything else depends on - are being re-engineered for the cloud-native era, and we need an architect to lead the charge. You'll design Kubernetes architecture across Azure, AWS and GCP and lead Crossplane orchestration across hyperscalers.
