Job summary

Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom Ltd is a key manufacturing unit within the Danone group, producing infant formula at the Macroom site. The Process Operative will work with the Shift Manager to deliver quality, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires hands-on manipulation of equipment, adherence to SOPs, and continuous improvement of product quality and process efficiency. A focus on hygiene and health & safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or process production is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and hygiene standards desirable.
• Ability to work with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• To work in compliance with the standard operating procedures and with the team to achieve production targets/KPI daily.
• To ensure highest standards of product quality, integrity and hygiene as per quality and food safety standards.
• Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Housekeeping Practice.
• Ensuring safe working practices in all tasks.
• Work with the team to optimise performance in output, quality, costs, etc.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained for optimum performance.
• Drive initiatives to maximise contribution and drive improvements in product quality and process efficiencies.
• Liaise with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance to achieve optimum results.
