Job summary

Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled team, oversee preventive and curative maintenance, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring safety and quality.

You will work with the Head of Maintenance and the DAN-IWS program to reduce losses and increase engagement, aligning maintenance strategy with site goals in a fast-paced FMCG environment at the Macroom site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience leading a maintenance team in a fast-paced, high-tech and high-volume environment.
• Deep knowledge of Maintenance Systems.
• Engineering qualification or a recognized, standards-based, time-served apprenticeship.
• Strong experience applying Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Practical Problem Solving).
• Proficient in MS Office tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance personnel.
• Optimize Performance Reliability (PR) while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Manage safety KPIs for internal team members and external contractors.
• Track and execute preventative maintenance schedules against the master plan.
• Control maintenance execution costs to align with the yearly budget.
• Oversee spare parts inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual plant maintenance activities.
• Build and monitor the yearly factory maintenance and energy budget.
