Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin is seeking a qualified Service Engineer to perform commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of YORK water-cooled and air-cooled chillers and heat pumps. You will lead site surveys, record works completed and prepare quotes for new or replacement equipment for major clients in Leinster.

You will be the primary technical contact, work with large pharma, life science and high-tech customers, and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 certificate required.
Experience with ammonia systems is advantageous.
Trade qualification in Refrigeration or equivalent electrical qualification.
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
NFQ level 5 or higher.
Experience servicing water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.
Experience commissioning large centrifugal/screw chillers and heat pumps preferred.
Familiar with York/Sabroe/Trane/Carrier/Daikin equipment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and without detailed procedures.
Valid Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

Provide site surveys, records, and reports to aid quoting.
Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of YORK chillers and heat pumps.
Act as primary technical contact for service issues with major Leinster clients.
Work mainly with large pharma/Life Science and high-tech customers.
Maintain Health & Safety as a top priority while delivering service.
