Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Solicitor for Markets and Regulation to provide expert legal support on commercial and regulatory matters across the business, including the Single Electricity Market. • Qualified lawyer with relevant experience, preferably within energy or infrastructure.
• Experience handling energy, commercial contracts, electricity markets and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial, regulatory and compliance matters affecting the business, including the Single Electricity Market and EirGrid’s licenced roles.
• Offer clear, accessible legal guidance tailored to the audience and business needs.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify issues, solutions and efficiencies.
• Instruct external legal advisors as required and manage relationships to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Participate in legal team initiatives and contribute proactively to the business.
