Job summary

Enable Ireland seeks a Family Support Worker to deliver in-home and community-based support for children with additional needs and their families across Ireland. The role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, coordinated by the Family Support & Respite Coordinators.

The essential criteria include a QQI Level 5 Childcare qualification (or related degree/healthcare qualification), transport access, and eligibility to work in the state.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Childcare or related health care qualification.
• Year 1 completed of related degree (e.g., Nursing, OT, PT, Psychology).
• SNA qualification or relevant health care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community support to children with additional needs and families.
• Work during evenings and weekends as required.
