Job summary
Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our residential service in Ireland. The role involves assisting individuals with autism to live independently, participate in daily activities, and engage with their communities.
The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and overnight shifts where needed. Candidates should hold a QQI Level 5 in Health/Care and demonstrate understanding of person-centred planning, with a willingness to learn and adapt to each person’s
Qualifications
- A full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health/Care is essential.
- Awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy for complex needs.
- Programme Planning and Person Centred Plans.
- Availability for rota shifts including evenings, weekends, and night duty shifts.
- Full, clean Irish driving licence desirable; ability to drive service vehicles.
- Permission to work in Ireland essential.
