Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking empathetic carers to help people live independently at home in their local communities. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication prompts, while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Travel between client visits is required, using your own vehicle where needed. We offer progression from carer to supervisor or coordinator roles, full training including QQI Level 5, and a supportive local management team with 24/7 on-call support and

Essential: Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 0
Essential: Minimum Qualification: No Qualification
Desirable: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, if not held, support to complete it.
Desirable: Genuine motivation to support people in the community to live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities

Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
Travel between client visits within your local area.
Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times.
