Job summary

Corlann – West is seeking Locum Relief Support Workers to join Rindoon Services in Athlone, Kilteevan and surrounding towns. The appointee will work across residential, respite, day settings or in community services; starting in one area with possibilities to shift as needs change.

The role focuses on person-centred planning, independence, and community participation, including personal care duties. A driving licence and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in intellectual disability or QQI Level 5 is an advantage.
• Experience with intellectual disability and challenging behaviour desirable.
• Fluent English with good verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in IT and assistive technology is expected.
• Full clean manual Driving Licence is essential; D1 may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide key-working support to individuals to promote independence.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities as required.
• Help develop and monitor person-centred plans and outcomes.
• Support community participation and inclusive activities.
• Contribute to flexible rosters and service demands.
