Job summary

Prosper Meath, part of the Prosper Group, supports adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in County Meath. We are seeking a Social Care Worker in Trim on a specified purpose contract to cover maternity leave, with a salary of €39,100-€56,349 per year (FTE), pro rata based on contracted hours.

You will provide person-centred support, help individuals work toward goals, promote independence, and collaborate with families and professionals to deliver services aligned with New Directions

Qualifications

• A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care.
• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker.
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
• Support individuals to identify and work towards personal goals.
• Promote independence, choice and inclusion.
• Support participation in social, recreational and community-based activities.
• Develop and maintain person-centred plans.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Support the delivery of services in line with New Directions and Prosper Meath's policies and values.
