Job summary

Uniting Holding is seeking a Project Worker for their Medically Supervised Injecting Facility in Dublin. This role focuses on delivering services for addiction and mental health issues, particularly for clients experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities include monitoring client wellbeing, engaging with clients, and maintaining high standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, at least one year of experience in related fields, and strong skills in crisis intervention and therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in social care, addiction, community or youth work.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in addiction or mental health services.
• Understanding of current National Drugs Strategy and Mental Health policy.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor client’s wellbeing throughout their visit.
• Engage with clients to identify health needs and refer to appropriate services.
• Produce standard monthly and quarterly reports for management.
