Job summary

The Good Shepherd Centre Kilkenny is recruiting a Acting Care & Case Manager on a maternity leave cover (specified purpose – 1 year). The role reports to the Service Manager and collaborates with the Tar Isteach team and local authorities to support tenancy sustainment and vulnerable service users.

The post involves independent workload planning and travel to tenants' homes, with flexibility to respond to emergencies and a commitment to quality standards and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

• Background in Social Care with training and experience in tenancy sustainment.
• Ability to work within quality standards and legislation.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Service Manager and collaborate with Good Shepherd, Tar Isteach team and local authorities.
• Plan workload independently and travel to tenants' homes as needed.
