Job summary

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail is seeking an ICT PMO Project Coordinator / Analyst to support the ICT PMO through project and portfolio administration, governance coordination, reporting and financial tracking across ICT projects. The role requires a proactive, organised approach to maintaining accurate project information and ensuring timely actions and approvals.

Working with Project Managers and stakeholders across ICT, you will help maintain dashboards, tracker accuracy, and NTA reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, project administration or PMO support, ideally within an ICT environment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to independently manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint, including maintaining trackers and producing reports.
• Experience coordinating project documentation, status reporting, actions, meetings and governance records.
• Ability to review information for accuracy and completeness, identify gaps and proactively follow up with accountable owners.
• Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Experience with PPM platforms such as CORA, or comparable project and portfolio reporting systems.
• Understanding of PRINCE2, project governance, gateway reviews and change control.
• Exposure to budget tracking, timesheet administration, forecasting and project financial reporting.
• Experience supporting externally funded projects, NTA reporting or public sector governance.
• Experience developing management information, dashboards or process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates PAG gateway administration, approvals, project records and governance
• Maintains action, decision and submission trackers, following up on overdue items and
• Organises PMO meetings, agendas, minutes, reporting calendars and shared documentation.
• Coordinates reporting cycles, consolidates project updates and checks alignment of portfolio information.
• Supports NTA portfolio reporting, timesheet administration, budget and forecast collation, and financial tracking.
• Produces clear management information and flags missing, inconsistent or overdue data.
• Identifies practical improvements to PMO processes, reporting and information
