Job summary

As a Hygiene Operator you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks across production and associated areas to support safe food manufacturing. You will ensure all hygiene procedures are followed in line with internal standards and external regulations directly contributing to product safety and operational efficiency. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will help maintain a clean, organised environment that supports smooth daily operations.

This role consists of 12 hour shifts and the shift will be required on different days each week depending on the process and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and deep cleaning of production areas and equipment in line with site hygiene schedule.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively to achieve required hygiene standards.
• Follow documented cleaning instructions and verbal guidance from supervisor and team leaders to complete tasks accurately.
• Complete relevant hygiene records and checklists accurately to support audits and compliance.
