Job summary

Portumna Pastry Ltd in Ireland is seeking an Operative to work under the Hygiene Team Leader or Manager, ensuring daily tasks meet quality, food safety and health and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork to meet production plans and includes cleaning equipment according to CIC’s instructions; you’ll help prepare the factory for startup and receive a 25% night shift premium. Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Report to Hygiene Team Leader and/or Manager and perform daily tasks to high quality, food safety and health & safety standards.
• Work as part of the team to meet production plans.
• Clean all equipment according to CIC’s cleaning instruction cards.
• Assist in cleaning machines and equipment to high standards.
• Collaborate to get the factory ready for startup.
• Must have legal right to live and work in Ireland and communicate in English.
• Night shift premium of 25%.

Reporting to the Hygiene Team Leader and / or Manager, this role requires the Operative to effectively and efficiently perform their daily work tasks to the highest level of Quality, food safety and health and safety standards, meeting all targets and reporting all issues. The role involves the employee being an integral part of the team, working together and meeting production plans. Cleaning all equipment used according to CIC’s. (cleaning instruction cards) To assist in cleaning of machines and equipment to high standards. To work together as a team in order to get factory ready for start-up. Candidate must hold the legal right to live and work in Ireland and be able to communicate in English. 25% shift premium paid on night shift.
