SLR Consulting in Ireland (Dublin/Cork) seeks an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to lead complex modelling projects focused on flood risk, water quality and environmental modelling. Role involves technical leadership, client liaison, and mentoring, with hybrid and flexible working options across Ireland.

Associate level development with opportunities for broader European exposure; requires strong GIS and TUFLOW/Flood Modeller experience and chartered status or active pursuit of Chartership.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience delivering hydraulic modelling projects in Ireland and/or the UK.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Knowledge of Flood Planning Guidelines and Irish hydraulic modelling standards.
• Advanced experience with TUFLOW (including ESTRY) and Flood Modeller; TUFLOW FV desirable.
• Experience with GIS packages such as QGIS.
• Ability to lead and technically review complex modelling projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of hydraulic modelling studies from planning through detailed design.
• Client management and support to proposals and business development.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Desk-based work with occasional site visits across Ireland and the UK.
