Job summary

Portobello Institute in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Systems & Applications Administrator to maintain and improve core digital systems such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Moodle, Classter, HubSpot and AWS. This permanent role combines hands-on delivery with continuous improvement and covers identity management, integrations and system monitoring.

You will work with APIs, data and scripts, build automation with Power Automate, and ensure secure, reliable operation across finance and reporting

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Experience administering and supporting business or cloud systems in a live production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, including logs and data.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID and related dependencies.
• SQL knowledge for querying, joining and validating data.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Portobello's core digital systems and applications.
• Maintain identity, access, groups, permissions and configuration.
• Support the AWS hosting environment for Moodle and services.
• Investigate issues via logs, data, APIs and system behavior; resolve problems.
• Develop integrations and automation using REST APIs, Power Automate, scripts.
• Provide data and reporting support using SQL and BI tools.
