Job summary

Select Roofing & Cladding Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Senior HR Generalist to serve as the operational number two in the HR team. This hands-on role partners with managers, handles employee relations and recruitment, and helps embed performance management and learning initiatives across sites.

You will work with the Head of HR and Office Operations Coordinator, supporting UK recruitment as the operation expands and travel between Dublin, Allenwood and project sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience with employee relations and recruitment
• Sound knowledge of Irish employment practices
• Experience coaching managers on performance, attendance and difficult conversations
• Strong recruitment capability with direct sourcing
• Good judgement and ability to escalate when needed
• Clear written communication, highly organised and results-focused

Responsibilities

• Handle routine and lower-complexity employee relations (attendance, probation, performance, disciplinary, grievance)
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for operative, junior and mid-level roles
• Apply KPI, probation and performance-review frameworks with coaching and follow-through
• Oversee employee lifecycle, induction and day-to-day benefits coordination
• Coordinate learning and development and maintain the skills/competency matrix
• Provide responsive HR support across offices, sites and project locations
• Lead HR improvement projects (ATS, manager toolkits, recruitment processes)
• Support UK recruitment and onboarding as the business grows
