Job summary

Orchard Care Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator - Social Care to lead quality assurance activities across residential services in Ireland. The role is full-time and hybrid, based from Sligo or Dublin with travel to services.

You will audit, review, and promote continuous improvement to safeguard outcomes for children and young people. You will collaborate with the Quality Director and operational teams, manage data and reports, and support policy development and regulatory

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in health, social care or quality management.
• At least one year of experience in a social care setting, preferably in residential services.
• Experience implementing a quality system in a care environment.
• Knowledge of risk management and incident management & review.
• Knowledge of Túsla standards and inspections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in managing records (electronic and hard copy).
• Garda Clearance and Overseas Clearance (if applicable).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Eligible to work in Ireland without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and development of quality assurance systems to ensure regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Participate in annual quality audits, produce reports, and support Quality Improvement Plans.
• Collaborate with PICs, Regional Directors, and teams to promote quality, improvement, accountability and learning.
• Collect and monitor quality data, KPIs, incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, and provide analysis for service improvement.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual quality reports and support regulatory readiness.
• Assist in policy development, governance and document control across services.
• Gather feedback from children, families, staff and stakeholders to inform service development.
