Job summary

The Irish Medical Council is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager, Postgraduate at the Senior Executive Officer grade on a fixed term contract for 24 months. Hybrid working model in Dublin, with responsibility for QA of medical education and training programmes and continuous improvement across the lifecycle of the doctor.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in regulatory environment and right-touch regulation.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to manage projects and programmes.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Flexibility and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and accreditation of education and training programmes.
• Manage Executive Officer(s) within the Directorate.
• Deliver high-quality reports and papers on schedule.
• Prepare and manage Directorate's annual business plan and budget.
• Coordinate data analysis projects and provide insights.
• Guide multi-professional assessor teams within regulatory framework.
• Drive continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
