Job summary

The Medical Council in Ireland seeks an Executive Director of Education and Training, Innovation and AI to lead regulatory activities in accreditation, quality assurance and improvement, and AI in medical education. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the Executive Leadership Team to drive a values-based culture focusing on doctors, patients and the public.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELT to build engagement and align across functions.
• Develop strategy and business planning for the Directorate.
• Oversee accreditation, QA, and continuous improvement in Education & Training.
• Drive liaison services to support Doctors and Patients and improve the customer experience.
• Provide strategic leadership for AI initiatives in medical education and CPD.
