Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Wicklow is seeking an experienced Project Accountant on a 9 month contract, focusing on systems, process improvement and financial controls. You will work closely with the CFO on cross-group finance initiatives across process, systems and governance.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with 3-5 years PQE, strong Excel skills and experience in finance systems implementation or transformation, plus ability to manage stakeholders across multiple levels in a hybrid

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications.
Experience in finance systems implementation, process improvement or finance transformation.
Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
Exposure to VAT and indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and improving finance processes to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
Supporting the implementation and optimisation of finance systems and processes.
Developing and implementing finance policies, procedures and SOPs.
Enhancing financial controls, approvals and governance frameworks.
Assisting with VAT / indirect tax and other compliance requirements.
Collaborating with finance and non-finance stakeholders to implement change.
