Job summary

Barden are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a Dublin West hybrid role. The role covers key financial and accounting activities across the business operations.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly management accounts, run payroll, handle CIS and RCT, and manage VAT returns for ROI and NI, with duties including bank reconciliations, supplier payments and general bookkeeping. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong experience preparing monthly accounts.
• Experience with payroll, CIS, RCT and VAT returns is an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting and VAT requirements in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Management and processing of payroll.
• Administration and reporting of CIS and RCT.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns for ROI and NI.
• Bank reconciliations, supplier payments and general bookkeeping.
• Supporting management with financial reporting and cash-flow information.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting requirements.
