Job summary

Barden is seeking a Group Accountant in Dublin city centre with hybrid working to join a growing finance team. The role offers a market-leading package for a qualified accountant with 1-4 years PQE, and exposure to consolidation, statutory reporting, and tax coordination.

Key duties include owning group entity accounting, preparing management packs, statutory statements under FRS 102, and supporting investor reporting and finance system implementations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 1-4 years PQE in industry.
• Top 10 practice trained with experience across a variety of client industries.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial accounting for a portfolio of group entities across sectors.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs with variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102 and run the annual audit.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations, loan schedules, and consolidation workings across a large multi-entity group.
• Coordinate tax compliance and statutory filings with external advisers.
• Support live transactions, investor reporting and new finance system implementation projects.
