Job summary

Fidelity Ireland is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead a squad in the Asset Management Technology group. You will be a hands-on developer, contributing to a suite of micro-services and UIs for retirement and college saving solutions.

The role requires a decade of design and development experience, strong Java/Spring Boot/Angular skills, and familiarity with DevOps (Maven/Jenkins). Hybrid work with gradual return to office from 2027 onward.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of design and development experience.
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services and Angular.
• Maven and Jenkins for DevOps enablement.
• Exposure to AWS or Kubernetes is a plus; Kafka experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad within Fidelity Ireland’s Asset Management Technology group.
• Hands-on development building Micro-Services and UIs.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver incremental business value.
