Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Digital Platforms Technology in Dublin. You will design, develop, test, and support enterprise-grade applications within a product delivery team, collaborating with senior engineers, managers, analysts, and QA to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

You will work on front-end and back-end services using Angular, TypeScript, Java/Spring, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology.
• 5+ years building and supporting enterprise apps.
• Strong experience with modern web apps and services.
• Experience delivering complex software in large-scale environments.
• Desirable: using AI-assisted engineering tools like GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support business-critical apps and services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, QA, and Architects.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Provide production support and incident investigation.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge.
