Job summary

BearingPoint Ireland is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team of engineers supporting development projects. You will gain exposure to DevOps practices and Continuous Software Delivery using technologies such as PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and C#.

You will work to empower teams with self-service platforms, enhance CI frameworks, and collaborate with developers, QA, and architects to improve the SDLC.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Background in Platform engineering or DevOps preferred.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting knowledge.
Experience using branching methodologies.
Fluent English; consulting experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Work in a team enabling self-service Platforms for software development.
Maintain and improve CI frameworks as part of development platforms from medium to enterprise scale.
Collaborate with Software Development, QA Engineers, and System Architects to improve SDLC efficiency and reliability.
Identify and remove software development bottlenecks.
Support multiple project teams to enable continuous integration with code quality and security.
Improve the developer experience of the Platform.
